The Working Relationship

Objective: MU works side by side and amicably with the Design Partner to provide design solutions which are not only visually appealing but also offer user experience 'perfection' for the end users.
Stage of involvement: It is recommended that MU comes in the early stages right from the requirements phase right up to implementation and launch.
Project Management / Account Management: Depending on who is fronting the project, either MU or the Design Partner will manage the Client. If the Design Partner is managing the Client, MU as its subcontractor would handle the outsourced component to ensure the highest level of quality. Read more about Usability Outsourcing.
Typical design engagement: MU will handle the User Experience & Usability portions of design project. MU will take on the initial user centred research, design and testing of low and high fidelity prototypes as well as the development of the user experience / usability guidelines (read about User Centred Research & Design and Usability Testing). The Design Partner will handle the visual design and branding aspects of the design project.
