Round-table Meeting with Da Nang, Vietnam Government (06th Apr 2009)

Jointly with iDA and SITF, MicroUsability and other Singapore companies participated in a roundtable discussion for industries from both sides to explore business opportunities and collaboration.

The Da Nang Government shared with MicroUsability and its Partners about the status of the government’s implementation of e-services in the public sector. Tahira Sultan, Managing Director of MicroUsability, shared with the Danang Government about its MU eGovernment solution implemented successfully for the Singapore Government.

MU eGovernment comprises of the Web Interface Standards (WIS) for all government agency websites, the Usability Guidelines for Government Websites & e-Services and services tailor fit for the Danang Citizen, Resident and Business specific needs and objectives.

Tahira Sultan emphasized that in order to deliver an eGovernment Portal and Online Services that are designed for the needs of the Vietnamese users, it is important for Danang Government to consider the needs of the users from the conceptual phase of the eGovernment implementation. It helps to reduce the rate of users seeking offline support from the Government at the end.
